FIVE YEARS!

This August, it will be five years since the SJN Theatre Ministry’s first musical production, “It Takes A Shoemaker.”   To celebrate, on Saturday, August 13th at 7:30 p.m. we are going to have a staged reading of the all new musical which has emerged from that first seedling, now called “One More Night.”

Staged Reading/Concert Production of a new musical comedy, One More Night For one night only!  Saturday, August 13th, 8 P.M.

Starring acclaimed baritone, Jose Sacin (who sang for Pope Benedict); noted D.C. actors Carolyn Agan, Justin Mohay and Cappie winner, Marshall Severin.

Light refreshments will be offered-General Seating. No tickets needed-pay what you can. All proceeds to benefit Reston Interfaith’s Transitional Housing Program for the Homeless. Doors open at 7:15 for BYOB’ers.

Suitable for 8 and older.

ANNOUNCING  THE FORMATION OF

ROVING READERS

A NEW PERFORMANCE GROUP whose mission will be to read aloud to patients in area nursing homes and assisted living facilities.

We will choose amusing, humorous stories which will be read aloud similar to a recorded book, except we will be live and in person.

ACTORS: this is a great opportunity to practice your cold reading skills for auditions!

Auditions: Saturday, April 2nd   11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
SJN Auditorium

We are looking for people who sight read REALLY well.  Ability to do accents well a plus.  There will be lots of flexibility with performances.  We’ll have some people who can perform during the week, and others who will perform only on weekends to accommodate work/school schedules.
